Why did the rapture not happen on 24 September 2025?

There were so many predictions that the rapture of the saints, according to Scofield and his scholars, would happen on September 24 2025, but nothing happened. We had the longest solar eclipse of the year for a small area in the US and elsewhere, but no rapture of the saints anywhere. Yet so many people were so convinced that it would happen. Remember when Jesus was crucified, the Bible said there were three hours of darkness, or as I would put it, a solar eclipse over Jerusalem.

We must remember that only a small area of the Earth will experience a 100% solar eclipse, which is normally fairly narrow but can be up to 185 kilometres long. It will be visible in 15 States of the US and in parts of Canada.  But nothing happened. Why?

To answer that question, I need to look at the Bible and see why and who the people are who were pushing this narrative. For that, I have to look at the two priesthoods that we find today. It is not something new, as it started in the days of Eli when he was a priest over Israel.
